Project management role. Interactive light and sound installation.
This installation brought together a group of designers and engineers from Arup‘s Lighting and Acoustics teams. The intent was to explore one of the most fascinating attributes of light – its color spectrum.
The visitor was invited to orchestrate various groups of light sources. By turning them on and off, the spectrum components were displayed, while generating a corresponding soundscape.
The piece was installed in the German Architecture Museum in Frankfurt, building up three extrusions within the foyer's windows, filling out the facade niches. As the installation was activated, light and sound became part of the space as well.
After the festival, the installation was shipped to Berlin and re-programmed for Arup‘s office in 2015.
